
The Aesthetics Institute staffs three highly qualified instructors.
Cynthia Mendoza, C.P.E. L.E.I. L.C.I.
Mrs. Mendoza is the founder and Director of Education at the Aesthetics
Institute. She holds the prestigious CIDESCO International Diploma
(where her thesis and practicum was on Electrology). She is a licensed
instructor for the Oregon Department of Education and she is an
Esthetics America Educator.
With over 20 years of experiences as an Electrologist, Desirologist,
Aesthetician, owner of 3 clinics, Instructor, Curriculum Developer,
Marketing Consultant, and Business Appraiser, she offers her students
invaluable and varied expertise.
Mrs. Mendoza had an affiliate school in Spain with one of her past
graduates for over a decade.
She has been a guest lecturer for the dermatology department of
Oregon Health Sciences University, and also a regular columnist for a
professional newsletter.
She has conducted and instructed continuing education both nationally
and internationally.
Mrs. Mendoza is certified in Dr. Vodder's Lymph Drainage and Hypnosis,
as well as licensed in Aesthetics, Nail Technology, Hair Technology,
Barbering, and Electrology.
She consistently travels around the nation attending conferences to
keep the school curriculum up to date.
Sue Leavitt, L.E.I. L.F.I. L.N.I.:
With over 30 years of experience in administration and accounting in the
corporate world, and over a decade of experience in Electrology,
Aesthetics, and Nail Technology, Mrs. Leavitt brings a world of
konweldge to our students.
She holds special certification for Dr. Vodder's manual Lymphatic
Drainage, Micro-Current, and Micro-Dermabrasion and has passed and
attained the CPE Certification Exam. She has been with the Aesthetics
Institute since 1993.
Monique Raab, LFI
Monique is an Aesthetics Institute graduate and has been licensed since
1999. She has been featured in the "NAILS" magazine after she
received her license in 1999 as the youngest nail technology license
holder in the United States.
Attending schools both in the United States and South America she has
broadened her scope of practice and is bilingual. She was also
accepted into a prestigious medical school in Peru.
Attending seminars as well as teaching them, Monique has a passion for
continued education and brings this passion to our curriculum.
